So far it's been a good experience. Mom seems to be happy. The only complaints I are that the nursing staff does not communicate with family about residents health issues. I am enlisting a home health care company to intermediate. And I've seen and heard that this facilty has a large turnover on the staff. I do not think they pay them as much as other facilities in the area. With dementia patients consistency and familiarity are very important. It was not a good fit for advanced dementia. They advertise it's for memory care however they should be more specific on appropriate levels of dementia . They push medication to basically make them zombies it just wasn't a good experience for us. Now they did now great activities (exercise class, puzzles, live music) my grandmother was more Intellectual, it seemed childish to her. The music wasn't her era, she was 90. My younger sister is a resident at Eagle Ridge Memory Facility since [date removed]. It was a difficult decision to make, but I have been very pleased with the attention and care that she receives from the caregivers as well as the administrative staff.
