About Elite at North Naples

If your loved one has dementia or Alzheimer’s, you may want to consider a home that is dedicated specifically to memory care. The Opal at North Naples is just such a place. Our goal is to engage our community members and provide opportunities to be active and independent — while always providing excellent care. We’re conveniently located in Southwest Florida near US-41 and are only a 15-minute drive to those white sandy beaches Florida is known for. Family interaction is important, so we have resources available to help families understand the challenges a loved one with dementia or Alzheimer’s may be facing. Community Amenities and Services Our community has a unique arrangement. Rather than one large facility, we’re a grouping of smaller one-story cottages, each housing up to 14 people. This creates a familiar environment and fosters a sense of belonging for everyone in our community. Cottages at The Opal are safe and secure without feeling imposing. We have cleverly disguised doors to prevent exit-seeking behaviors. Grounds are secured by fences, which are aesthetically pleasing and don’t prohibit residents from enjoying the lovely view. Our buildings are also designed to have clear sightlines for important features and locations, such as the kitchen and bathroom — all to help reduce anxiety. In keeping with our sense of community, caregivers are assigned to specific buildings so that residents can recognize them and build a relationship with them. Our caregivers are available to help your loved one around the clock. Other services we offer include on-site physicians, nurse practitioners, psychiatric care, podiatry, laboratory, diagnostic, and dental care. Not all of our on-site services revolve around medical care, however. Your loved one will love feeling pampered at our salon. We bring lots of fun activities and therapies to our community. Your loved one can look forward to aromatherapy, pet therapy, music, artistic entertainment, and more. Our Joyful Moments program provides a wide variety of activities your loved one may enjoy, such as bingo, toss across, balloon volleyball, and painting. Our walking paths are also favorite spots to enjoy during the day. Living Arrangements You can choose between private and semi-private rooms at The Opal at North Naples. We have rooms that are furnished for you, but you’re welcome to bring your own furniture and keepsakes if you prefer. Each bedroom has an attached bathroom with a wheelchair-accessible shower. Feel free to bring what you need to make the lifestyle of your dreams, here at The Opal at North Naples. Care Types Offered The Opal at North Naples is an assisted living facility which offers limited nursing services . In the state of Florida, these terms are defined as follows: Assisted Living Facility A facility that provides supervision of the activities of daily living, medications, and other similar services to residents in a homelike environment. These facilities can house one resident to hundreds of residents. Limited Nursing Services The assisted living facility can provide nursing services to residents.
