CriticalElla Springs Senior Living Community
The food is acceptable, but it is nothing exceptional. Some staff members are very helpful and attentive, while others could be more responsive and engaged. The apartment size is excellent, and the common areas are kept spotless. However, maintaining cleanliness inside the apartment has been a challenge at times. I have had to be persistent in requesting basic services, such as mopping and trash removal, before they were addressed.

CriticalMemory Care, room for improvement
The assisted living side is much better than the memory care side. They put on a show when you tour. The staff are not really engaged with the staff, they do not do the activities they have listed. Never enough staff for the amount of residents. Rooms are an ok size, not cleaned well, floors are sticky and slippery. They have an ant problem in the rooms and activity room. The manager Brenda is very responsive before you move in, once you're in, not so much.

The place is beautiful. The staff is caring, loving and friendly. This was exactly what I/ he needed. He really didn't want to be there, but with dementia, and his wife in the hospital, I had no choice. He adapted quickly with the encouragement of your staff. He was only there 1 month, but it was a lifesaver for me. It gave us enough time to get his wife home to continue to care for him. He went on hospice in February and passed away on [date removed]. Staff is friendly , they share and seem open to you and suggestions for your love one. Rooms are nice size with a good storage and closet space. Rooms are cleaned daily. They have a schedule for washing clothes . Food is good . Offer 2 in house Church services.

It is difficult to give a real accurate score as my mom and dad were there for only two months. My mom passed away much earlier than expected and my dad felt too emotional to stay there. I felt we did have a good experience at the facility.
