The location is excellent for my transportation needs...no longer drive/have a car but the King County Metro bus service is superb...and I can get lots of reading and crosswords done on my visits to and from. STAFF: I would divide administrative and support. I can't count the times I have been touched when seeing Support staff in the 'gathering' room when passing by a resident just reach out and give a comforting pat or little shoulder rub. CriticalHorrible Care- Run don’t walk to another community
I made the biggest mistake moving my mom here. The care staff are lazy, not trained, don’t respond to residents care needs. They don’t care about people. They are liars and do not document incidents in order to hide from the state. The Health and Wellness Director had her nursing license suspended and enforcement taken against her. Our family couldn't be happier with the Empress. After my mom lost her husband of 60 years, the staff & community welcomed her with open arms and helped her settle in. As a family of medical providers, we have high standards for care. The Empress exceeds all of our expectations on a daily basis.
