Freedom Village has everything anyone would want or need. The people are friendly, there are many programs and activities. The health care support is superb. The food is very good, with many choices daily. We both really feel like we made a great choice. We can walk to down town Holland, a very charming town, which offers plenty of activities also. the tulip festival is a huge undertaking by Holland. We regret ever buying into Freedom Village. The sales team did an excellent job of painting a rosy picture, making it seem like we were investing in a facility that would make life easier and provide a wide range of reliable services throughout every stage of care. However, once you’re in, the reality is starkly different. Having lived here nearly six years, which includes during the pandemic, I honestly feel it was a good move. During the pandemic every precaution was made to prevent infection but we felt well cared for. Now we enjoy many of the widely varied activities offered throughout the week as well as good fellowship with friends in our apartments and over meals. CriticalWe toured this community. the staff was nice and they seemed to care about what we needed for mom. The community was clean and the had a lot to offer. The menu was appealing and they offered a list of activities. We did not want a community that was big for my mom.We would recommend the care and value of this community to other families.
