There isn't much to share because they are in the independent living cottages. They don't participate in activities (but they are offered) and they don't receive care. Home size is great. I haven't had any contact with office staff in the past year, but my dad hasn't complained. I'd give 4 stars, just because there have been billing issues.

Stellar accommodations, helpful staff, but some frustrations with billing.

The office/billing situation has been problematic since they moved in. But otherwise everything is fine. So I would recommend based on facilities and care. Although my parents don't receive much care being in independent living.

Our family experience.

Good care for mom. Not enough customer service for the family. The facility is clean. We have had issues with cleanliness of our mom's room. The dining room staff is very friendly. Meals are good. Nice activities are offered. The value for cost is hard It is hard to understand why A.L. has to cost so much. The value of having our mom in a safe place cannot be measured.

Good staff with high turnover. This great organization should do a better job in retaining staff. Overall, I would recommend this facility.

Mom Is Happy

We chose Gabry Ridge mostly due to the location. I live in Sidney. My sister lives in Troy. We are mom's main caregivers so she's located in the middle of our homes. Also we liked the rooms and just the overall environment. Staff is very kind and caring. The facility is clean and well maintained. Our mother is very happy there.

I toured this community and it felt dreary and dull. They seemed very disorganized. Our tour guide wasn't there and didn't let us know that she wouldn't be there. She also never responded to our questions after the tour or tried to reach out to us.
