Genesis Village is an independent living community and offers respite care options located in the beautiful, serene city of Toledo, Ohio. Upon arrival, visitors and prospective residents will recognize our community as the ideal place to age in grace. We offer a spacious 2,000 square foot atrium for relaxing, playing games, or just soaking in the sunshine. Beyond the two-story, floor-to-ceiling windows lies one of our large, landscaped courtyards — the perfect place to relax, read, or socialize. We also have a high quality fitness center with the right equipment to help you keep your fitness goals. PositiveWhen I moved in I was given a person to get me and make sure I was befriended and at ease. I was introduced around and given another tour. Everyone hear has been pleasant. Front desk treat you as if, you have been here forever. Food is welcoming. Ask one of the staff and they will bring you what ever you so choose. Even the maintenance people treat you like long lost friends.

I have made a new family here at Genesis Village. Everyone is so nice. There is plenty of activities provided. You can choose to participate or not. I especially love the pool exercise classes, balloon, bad minton, book club, craft classess, and the fact that I could bring my cat with me. The apartments are roomy and the food is good with several choices at each meal. This is a great place and I highly recommend it.

PositiveI always wanted to live here
I always thought this was the place to live when I got older. I still feel young even at 80. I have parkinsons and everyone helps me so much. I take care of myself but they help me by being around as much as I need them. They go on field trips like to the bank, store, doctors appointments. Once a month they take who wants to go to brunch then at night they have dinner who wants to go. I have been here 4 months and I love it here. The really go all out to please us.
