★★★★★
PositiveWe picked them because it was close to his home & he knew staff, and residents already. They offered the memory care unit along with assisted living
★★★★★
PositiveWe liked that it is Golden Horizons is a smaller community & they treat the residents like they are family. Sometimes communication to the family could have been better but for the most part it was good. We would definitely recommend Golden Horizons to other families. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made the transition of moving a loved one into their facility smooth and comforting.
★★★★★
PositiveWe chose Golden Horizons of Aitkin initially because the facility was smaller and easier for her to navigate. Mom really wanted to hate it when she got there. But the friendliness of everyone (and the good food) won her over despite her efforts to be miserable.
★★★★★
PositiveThank you so much for your help. [Name removed] really saved me a lot of time and I know I made a better decision because of her help. Everyone has been friendly and welcoming. My loved one spends a lot less time napping. My loved one is making friends and enjoying mealtimes and activities.
★★★★★
PositiveWe love the staff. It's a small community, and the staff is just fantastic. Most of them have worked there for more than five years. There's very little turnover. They like their jobs, and they're just very caring. My dad absolutely loves the staff. They are doing a great job with his Celiac disease. The facility itself is one of the best I've seen. It's very clean, and the common areas are really nice and inviting. And my dad loves to spend most of his day down there doing activities or just chatting with people.
★★★★★
CriticalHorrible place. Do not notify family about serious incidents, drug their residents and let them sit on a couch all day. Left on a toilet way too long. I hope this place gets shut down!
