Golden Pond was created to offer a very simple philosophy of service — to make life a little easier. We’re known for our friendly, casual, and home-like environment. Our independent living lifestyle is the perfect alternative for seniors who wish to enjoy an active, fulfilling life without worrying about maintaining a household. Golden Pond also offers an assisted living program for residents who need a little extra help with their activities of daily living and ongoing medical care. We take pride in our beautiful grounds, embellished by nearby woods, and surrounded by our well-maintained, terraced perennial garden that extends through the vast landscape of the outdoors. Golden Pond is ideally situated near wonderful attractions and leisure opportunities, like Rosemont Community Park, Riverbend Park, American Riverfront, and so much more. Community Amenities and Services We’re happy to offer outstanding dining and meal options for residents. Our skilled cooks provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and even dessert to satisfy sweet tooths. Services and amenities at Golden Pond are tailored to promote the physical and social well-being of all residents, and we aim to provide a wholesome experience. Some of our on-site amenities and services include: Exciting activities calendar Off-site activities Concierge available daily from 8 AM to 7 PM Scheduled transportation Sunday church services Security system throughout the community We offer three levels of care services on site, plus rehabilitation, hospice, and respite care. Nurses are staffed around the clock to attend to the medical service needs of residents. Our medical director visits weekly to update care needs as necessary. Podiatrists, dentists, and optometrists visit quarterly. We also offer a convenient on-site pharmacy. Living Arrangements Golden Pond offers a variety of comfortable floor plans that residents enjoy. We have studios and one-bedroom units available, with the option of a den, modern appliances, and small patios. All of our units have individual heating and cooling, large windows, and neutral paint colors, and residents enjoy housekeeping, laundry, and trash services. Care Types Offered Golden Pond Retirement Community is a residential care facility for the elderly (RCFE) , which in the state of California is a housing arrangement for persons 60 years or older where supervision and personal care is provided based on the needs of the residents. These facilities are also known as assisted living facilities and board and care facilities. A residential care facility may provide care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s. PositiveMy mom has been a resident at Golden pond retirement community receiving assisted living support for over a year. She was recently hospitalized and went to skilled nursing and has finally returned home. And home is what this place has come to be. So the building may be a little older it's charming and homey.
