PositiveNavigating the next steps for our parents
She's doing well it was quite an adjustment for her. But she seems to be enjoying things there she's a little bored she would like a little bit more variety and more activities that stimulate her intellectually. She also has some food allergies that are being addressed but she said that the food is been very inconsistent. That said her overall experience has been excellent and she thinks that the staff is just wonderful

Mom is in assisted-living and Dad is in memory care. Not ever having this experience before with any parents in assisted care you really do need to be diligent with making sure that things are followed up. It just takes a lot of patience for example we had issues with medication schedule. Took us a couple of weeks to get everything situated, but it's all working well now. Sometimes seems like there's confusion as to who you need to go to. But being new, it's a little confusing once you get situated you realize wh…

Our experience with Grand Living was beyond terrible. Behind the shiny new building and amenities, is a critically uneducated medical staff, supervised by an inadequate nursing director. We took my mom out of there after only staying 2 nights. If I could rate it a -0, I would.
