The categories you listed, I would say a five, with the exception of the food. Sometimes the portion is too small, and sometimes it isn't what my brother likes. Otherwise, we are super happy with Greenhaven Place!

Review for Greenhaven Place

I am beyond grateful to have found Greenhaven Place for my Dad. This the third assisted living my Dad has lived at and it is by far the best. The care my Dad receives is phenomenal. They have really taken the time to get to know my Dad and understand his needs. My Dad is happy there and has lots of friends. I am grateful that my Dad will be able to spend his remaining years at Greenhaven Place because it is home to my Dad.

Greenhaven Place experience

Most of the facility is fine. The carpets in the hallways need to be cleaned or replaced. I would go with a little darker color. my mother is wheelchair bound and blind and can not participate. She was excited about the Trivia thing, but the questions were put up on a screen that she nor Pat can see. When we play trivia, we verbally ask the questions, and people can hold up their hands to answer or just shout it out. It's for fun, not for points. She can't go on the field trips or use the go to the doctor services.…

Meets Our Needs Well

Smoking + vaping allowed outside of facilities. I would still recommend Greenhaven Place. However, I was surprised smoking was allowed outside, and would prefer it wasn't.

We had an amazing tour with the sales director. She makes you feel very comfortable making sure you find the right home for your loved one. This is all new to us and she has answered all of our questions and showed us a unit with furniture and unit without furniture which was very helpful. My mom was nervous as she has been in her home for 46 years. My mom said that she felt very comfortable choosing Greenhaven Place as her forever home mostly because of the sales director also Greenhaven Place just feels like home…

Activities

My dad came to Greenhaven Place and has been very happy with the activities they have to offer. They’ve even did a scenic drive to go and look at Christmas lights which was really nice. My dad was shy at first but the staff and the residents make you feel like family.
