★★★★★
PositiveThe rep I worked with made my experience positive. It's a nice community. I would recommend to others.

PositiveI met with Chanel Sanchez and I was impressed by her compassion. I was trying to save my brother from a terrible situation. Every encounter I've had, either with Lucy the receptionist to Valerie (I'm not sure of her official position) Emma, Johanna and Dominic (in the dining room) all have been kind and seem caring which is wonderful to see. They call my brother by name, and I really appreciate that they know him. I would definitely recommend Brookdale

PositiveMy tour of the Brookdale Central Whittier was conducted over FaceTime but I could tell that it is a clean, well kept and orderly facility. They have all the amenities needed for a comfortable and pleasant place to live.
★★★★★
PositiveThe staff really gets to know each resident, as well as the families. They are extremely gentle and kind to the residents, helping them participate in activities and understanding their needs.
★★★★★
PositiveLooks and feels good … will need more time to have a meal and talk to current residents. I hope to return to gather more data.

CriticalClean overall is what stood out. Expensive, poor management. I would say shop around first. Several maintenance personnel. Revolving front door Care takers with out proper training cafeteria workers with bad attitudes. A in-house nurse who has the authority to add expenses to the monthly billing but can't explain the details
