Activities for memory care are engaging. Food is recorded as the same thing over and over; again this is memory care- so they have to have easy to swallow dishes. Staff always seems happy. Rooms are kept up. 4 stars based on always needs for growth and improvement.

Staff is the biggest plus. They are attentive, friendly and responsive. It has taken a bit of time for the new owners to settle into new procedures Only difficulty is occasional problems with the internet provider and tv provider. It takes several days to fix issues.

Great staff and tour. Drop in visit went great! Looking to utilize the memory care unit, transition team and nurse had been amazingly helpful.

[name removed] was so accommodating and took time to introduce my client and myself to the activity director and the placement director. [name removed] and others were very knowledgeable and took the time to answer our questions, show us a host of room options available and made us feel very welcomed. The community seems very warm and friendly. I felt like they wanted my client to be there.

Day by day differences matter - hopeful for change

My mom is in memory care, so our existence is limited to that hall. The care each day varies widely based on the staff on duty - some are incredible and work very had to assist the residents (many on this hall who need a lot of physical assistance ); others are often found sitting in the resident recliners on their phone with residents just parked all day in their wheelchairs. In those days, bathroom assistance or diaper changes were also sparse. They have a new head nurse who is aware and ready to make some change…

Poor care would not recommend

If you value your loved ones care do not place her at Oaks at Habersham! Number one - medication not passed out on time, staff shortages, no activities for them to do, poor care for your loved ones.
