We chose Hallmark House because of the friendliness, cleanliness, the fact that it had only 30 beds for memory care only & the general layout of the facility. When I visited I met many of the staff not just the office people & that was helpful to get an overview of the people & their various skills etc.

We like the layout of the facility, the staff too. They could improve communication with families that don't live there and the beauty shop haircut thing is frustrating at times. Another negative is I think at sometimes they are understaffed but I understand the fact that problem is at all places like this. In fairness to Hallmark House they have had a management company change and they are working on things but when it's your parent there I feel that the bar should be set high and I feel underwhelmed at times but …

My loved one is currently a resident at Hallmark House and everything has been great for her at this facility. They were very helpful with the move in process by storing things that we had delivered until our move in day. Very accommodating. Communication with the family is great. Not overwhelming, but they are always responsive to my questions or things that come up. My loved one says that the food is great, she likes the variety of what they have available. I would recommend Hallmark House to others.

PositiveLoving staff, wonderful facility
My dad has been at the Hallmark House for several months and the staff is absolutely wonderful- truly saints on earth. Alzheimer's is such a difficult disease to manage and they go above and beyond to care for the residents while respecting the individual. The facility is designed for memory care with a large center room, where they all gather, surrounded by individual bedrooms. There is a combination of laminate (hardwood looking) floors and carpet. Positiveoverall
Hallmark has been a very positive move for my family member. Staff seems knowledgeable of how to care for clients. Clients have some ability to move inside and outside which has been important for my mother. Yet she is still safe. We are very happy with Hallmark with no plans to change. I would suggest a little more hands on by staff regarding client hygiene through out the day.
