My husband spent two and a half years at Havenwood of Minnetonka in memory care. The sense of community is evident when you walk in the door. The level of care and, equally important, the effort to make connections for residents experiencing Alzheimer's and dementia is visibly present. PositiveFeels like family
It took awhile to find a place we felt was best for [Name Removed. She is very withdrawn, suffers from severe anxiety and has no family. Havenwood has been the perfect fit! It is just the right size for her to feel known and safe and she has quickly made friends with the kind staff who encourage her to try new things and safely expand her world and the warm, welcoming residents. Havenwood feels like family!

CriticalMemory Care Seriously Lacks Quality Care
While the facility itself is attractive, the quality of care in the memory care unit is concerning. Staff turnover is high, and several staff members appeared unfamiliar with their patients, citing that they were new. Personal care, including baths and showers, is infrequent, and residents often receive minimal assistance with daily activities. PositiveLooking for a place for Mom.
I was given a tour by the Director of Plant Operations. He took me throughout the entire facility, showing me the different types of care, and explaining everything that’s available. It’s a very clean and nice place, and very suitable for residential living. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I visit grandma weekly with my girlfriend and my dog and everyone here is so kind to the residence. It feels like a community and home. If you are looking for a place to live and be part of a group of friends. This is the place.
