PositiveFound the perfect place for my sister
We have been very happy with Heritage Care of Conover. It is an old facility, so does look like much, but delivers the important stuff. Lots of communication about my sister. Quick to act when she has any pain, etc. She wants to be taken care of, not independent, and they handle that well. She has been there for a while now and we are still just as happy.

Not fancy, but safe, and homelike. Very personalized care - you are not just a number. They monitor how well roommates are doing, and willing to move people around when needed. If a person with no family is dying, the staff make sure they are not alone. Good for someone who likes to be taken care of, rather than being independent, so good for intellectually limited.

PositiveReview for Heritage Care of Conover
If I were needing to go to a care facility I've already told my family, that's where I want to go. Friendly, caring, wonderful folks. Is it the newest, no. Is it the cleanest, probably not. But a care home that really cares is where I want to be. Also, we loved the "almost mountain" feeling with the foliage and trees outside. Thank you so much for helping us find Heritage Care. My loved one didn't eat much food or do any activities, so I can't rate that, but for them, it was an awesome value.

My sister loves people, and wants someone to be her mother, rather than "independent living". This place satisfies both the social and the care needs. She is thriving here. Very personal care. They worked with me to determine the best way to make her happy, rather expect her to conform. As a result, my sister has never been happier!
