PositiveMeetings with sales and assistant executive director were friendly, honest and straightforward as far as the cost ect. Apartments and studios are large enough with lots of windows and sunlight. Staff is friendly and knows the residents by name pretty quickly. Lots going on every day and the atrium is usually full of groups sitting around taking. I visited a lot of places during my search, and this was by far the best. My father has thrived here.

PositiveFor what we paid, $[removed], we expected much more. The facility and my mother's room was not always very clean, she had to share a room (we expected she would have a room to herself), there were no readily available trained nursing staff or doctors (we were expecting that). There were very few staff at night and other patients would wander into my mother's room; if my mother had fallen I don't know how she could have readily gotten help. PositiveWe like the staff as well as the comfortable apartments with patios. Overall we like it and our loved one likes it there

PositiveThe food could be better. One of the reasons we chose this community over others is the entry fee was reasonable versus [community removed]

PositiveI would give heritage a 5 on all counts. Lots of activities and mom said the food was delicious. One especially nice feature was the small cafe in the lower level that is open for alternative meal choices if you don't care for the dining hall choices or want to eat at a different time of day when the dining room is closed. Also for those who want an independent living lifestyle but need some assistance there is a third party group that can be hired on an a la carte basis, depending on the needs.

PositiveWhen it comes to the value for cost that's a tough one. It is expensive, and I have no reference since this is my only experience. I think for my mom, it's mostly the food that could be improved on. However, she just told me recently that they took her out for sushi which was amazing. She loves sushi and it was a great experience. She has some friends. And her apartment is very nice. More sushi excursions would be great.
