The staff at Holiday Manor are so lovely. The improvement would be in the activities. While [name removed] is a nice woman, they are a little bit loosely coordinated and the residents do not seem to find them stimulating.

CriticalBefore I arrived I told the person who gave me the tour that I was interested in a one bedroom apartment; when I got there their was only a small studio apartment available. I had lunch there, I ate with one of the residents (ambassador). She was very informative, I had a salad which was made with iceberg lettuce which I never eat. I wasn't enthused about the food, the lasagna seemed a little over done. Poughkeepsie is in a very beautiful area of the Hudson Valley, hiking trails and Vassar College is close by.

Mom in law moved there last year, and sold her house in Florida. Now she's not as lonely, partakes in activities, has family visits and trips out often. Moving was the right thing to do, and the Manor is the right place for her now. It's affordable with a pleasant and attentive staff. We recommend it!
