Excellent find

My Father's final 18 months of life were greatly enhanced by his care at Homestead Living. We tried another facility with much frustration. It was a "fancy" place, new and shiny, but had little knowledge of how to respectfully care for memory care patients. A friend recommended Homested and they had a rare opening. A large TV room, All the bedrooms have windows, The Activity Director [name removed] is fun for residents, In summer, residents can sit outdoors on patio under canopy, The place feels like a Home Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

My dad lives here now and I can't express how happy my family is that's he's getting so much better care ?? I feel much happier visiting him because he always has a smile on his face. He likes being around others so this place is a great fit for him.

Quality Care for someone with Dementia

Homestead has been the answer to our prayers when it came time for my Mother to leave her home. We had her in a couple of other places before arriving here. This environment is more homelike, set up in a way to keep residents safe from falls and elopement concerns. They were able to help my Mom transition in a way to relieve her anxiety and fears. They, like everyone, have issues finding staff so are sometimes short. However, their staff is all well trained. My Dad is doing very well there. Much better than at his old place. Based on our experience so far we would recommend this community to other families.

Do not currently have openings and there is a waiting list. Facility was clean and well run. Care approach and philosophy was different than most. Also locally owned and operated
