Critical1) The place is very clean. 2) Most of the caretakers are friendly & provide good care. 3)Not overcrowded Negative: 1) [name removed] , who supervises the place, is unfriendly & takes no interest in interacting when I visit...not even to say hello...literally avoids me. However, she will return texts when I am inquiring about how my sister is doing. 2) My sister needs podiatry care. [name removed] has a podiatrist come in to care for the other residents, but NOT for my sister even though she has insurance. 3)…

Positive5 star Overall Experience. [Name Removed} and staff at Hoover Oaks treats my mother like family. The staff is warm, kind, patient and attentive. They go above and beyond to care for her needs and the needs of their residents. Each time I visit, the facility is immaculate and the air has a pleasant fresh aroma. It was clear that they truly care about the people they serve and about the families who come through their doors. We are sincerely grateful for the a…

CriticalUnfortunately this facility did not work out for my mother. We were assured when we toured that the staff received specialized training from the owner to handle aggressive behaviors. It is also frustrating that they are refusing to refund any portion of the fees. The owner has not provided the agreement that states this. The facility was always nice and clean and the other staff members were nice, so I have no issues with them specifically.

PositiveI would recommend Hoover Oaks for someone looking for a place for their family member needing memory care. have been overall very pleased with the management and staff at Hoover Oaks. They are attentive to my [age removed] mom with Alzheimer's. They are engaging with their residents, welcoming, and are meeting my mom's full care needs.
