great staff but limited food options

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I felt that the food options were limited due to my mother's dietary restriction, vegetarian. Upon check-in they assured us that the meal options could accommodate a vegetarian diet but it appeared that only vegetarian burgers were prepared as an alternative meat.

Overall Would Recommend

I felt like we had some special privileges, but maybe not. My only complaint is that his clothes kept disappearing and the staff had no idea what happened to them. One day we found him wearing someone else's socks. Staff told us they "borrowed" them from another resident. They also did not comply with his special food requirements (cut up fine). I thought the food was really good generally, but not always presented in a way Dad could eat it. Overall, I would recommend the facility .My experience was in the Memory C…

I want to thank a place for mom for recommending hummingbird Sr Resort Living in sierra vista as a place to take a look at for my father who has dementia. I was skeptical at first as it seemed like the facility title referred to independent living, which it does, however my father needs hands on due to dementia.
