About Ironwood Village

About Ironwood Village Ironwood Village is a relatively new active adult community in Casa Grande, Arizona. All homes in this gated, tight-knit community are energy-efficient and built by Keystone Homes. Despite its desert location, Ironwood Village features extensive green spaces, but with no maintenance required by its residents. Quiet serenity with close proximity to shopping and entertainment make the community perfect for active adults, who want to enjoy comfortable and active retirement living. Ironwood Village Amenities & Lifestyle While relatively quaint in size, Ironwood Village is definitely not short on amenities. Included on the grounds are a clubhouse with fitness center, aerobics studio, and an outdoor pool. A ballroom is a home to many social events, while a library and computers cater to intellectual pursuits. For indoor fun and games, a multitude of hobby rooms provides lots of space for cards, billiards, pottery, sewing, and other arts and crafts enthusiasts. Bocce ball and horseshoe courts, as well as a spectacular lawn croquet area, supply room for competitive fun or laid-back outdoor activities. Golf enthusiasts can tee up on several golf courses nearby. In the winter time, an activity director is on hand to assist in all areas of recreation. Ironwood Village Homes & Real Estate Keystone Homes, the developer of Ironwood Village, offered four different spacious floor plans, which are perfect for entertaining. Each plan includes two bedrooms, two baths, a den, dining room, covered patio, and vaulted and 9' ceilings. Since all homes in Ironwood Village are one level, they are ideal for people looking for step-free homes. Houses in this community are fairly even in size and range from 1,287 to 1,779 square feet. They all feature lovely tile roofs but offer three different exterior options for variety. The builder has included many luxury upgrades even in the standard homes, and this includes two-car garages for current lifestyles. Even houses with the highest additional upgrades are still moderately priced. Ironwood Village's 264 attached homes were built between 2004 and 2012, making the homes available on a resale-only basis. Ironwood Village Lifestyle One desirable feature at Ironwood Village is the carefree and low-maintenance lifestyle and that residents are able to "lock and leave". The reasonable association fees include all yard maintenance, so residents can leave for extended out of town visits without worries. Another aspect that makes Ironwood Village unique is that the houses look attached, but are not. This gives the residents a feeling of closeness to their neighbors while maintaining a preferred level of privacy. Residents can be as private or as social as they want. Area The immediate area of Casa Grande offers plenty of dining facilities and a new shopping center. Casinos and the Casa Grande Ruins are some of the more popular attractions, all with spectacular mountain views en route. For major shopping opportunities and a busy nightlife, Chandler and Phoenix are only 30 to 40 miles away. Phoenix also contains Sky Harbor airport and several professional sports teams. Other attractions in Phoenix - which are high on the list with visitors - are the Heard Museum, Desert Botanical Garden, Piestewa Peak, Boyce Thompson Arboretum, Phoenix Zoo, South Mountain Park, and the Montezuma Castle. Ironwood Village in Casa Grande is a wonderful choice for 55+ homebuyers in Arizona.
