Professional and seamless transition

The staff is pleasant and the moving in process was superior. I moved in someone who was reticent to move; on day one at Ivy Park she joined in with others. I have not been there yet as I live out of town; I understand my friend is thriving there and becoming more engaging. It is a bit expensive, however the care she receives puts my mind at ease.

My mother & I had a tour and the sales department lady offered us a free meal which was super kind of her. She talked to us when we first sat down and let us enjoy our meals. The 2 servers who helped us were extremely attentive and sweet just like the sales woman. They were bringing plates of food to all the residents quickly, quick to clean up any dirty dishes, explained all the different options on the menu and overall just had a friendly vibe towards my mother and I. I had a question about certain dietary needs …

From start to finish Julie Harris was fabulous! From her quick replies on phone and email to a thorough on site tour I was impressed! Ivy Park at Bonita is thoughtfully planned for seniors and dementia and I'm happy to consider my 95 year old Mother being cared for there along with my own possible residency as I move from 60s into my 70s. It feels like a home walking in with many delightful gardens, windows, and activity rooms. Ivy Park at Bonita has my highest recommendation!

To get to the community, I had hard time to find the parking lot, I had to stop by the front entrance and went inside the building to ask the receptionist to get direction to find the parking area. My first impression when I enter the community was welcomed by the receptionist and she was smiling and worm, friendly. Touring by the marketing director , she was very detailed explaining and giving all information. The community was very clean and opened.

Beware of false claims not in writing

Honestly we like the staff and facility. But their Sales representative never fulfilled her promise of 1 month free rent if we joined. We feel she is dishonest and will fool the elderly in believing her.
