My husband is currently residing at JenSteph Board And care. I have been entirely satisfied with their care for him. The staff is attentive and there is a staffing ratio two staff to six residents (larger places have a staffing of sometimes 1 to 22). Secondly, there is a home like atmosphere since it is a house instead of a facility. Additionally, the owners visit frequently to assure comfort levels and speak to me about any concerns. Good care but not needs to improve activities, safety features

My mom has been there for two months, so they're still getting acquainted. They are very good about taking care with her medications. They don't do a whole lot except watch TV. I have seen a basketball stand that someone can sit in and throw a ball. They have a porch, but not alot of places for people to walk, and my mother needs to walk more. Doors are alarmed, but there isn't enough to prevent residents from the edge of the patio or steps outside. Two caregivers are there 24/7, they take good care of her, but …

Has the dementia waiver & also a hospice waiver. Pleasant to talk to even said to speak to the residents there and take a tour no problem. They have 5 there now.
