PositiveI cannot say enough good things about Kruse Village. Every aspect of it is wonderful and they helped make the transition a positive experience. Both staff and residents have gone out of their way to make my mother-in-law feel welcome. We feel very blessed to have found Kruse Village. I highly recommend it if someone is looking for a friendly, small town atmosphere that feels like home!

PositiveTalk to individual departments about concerns rather than director of AL. For example, if they are not putting out fresh fruit at the snack table like they should talk to the food department. Activities could have more of a variety. Mom is much happier here than at her previous facility.

PositiveKruse Village is a nice facility for Independent living. Mom is comfortable in her 1 bedroom apartment and is pleased with the layout. One meal a day is provided by Kruse with a decent variety of. The laundry facility is convenient which is nice.

CriticalStaff members sat at "nurses" station on their phones, most were unfriendly, and non-engaging. There was only 1staff member that was "qualified" to administer meds. Had 1 experience where my family member ran out of pain meds and it was not recognized by staff. My family members room was kept fairly clean but we (the family) swept, mopped cleaned bathroom when we visited. The kitchen, dining room and hallways were dirty.
