La Marea was a wonderful place to welcome, my dear friend, who was in need of assisted living. Unfortunately, he was unable to stay in assisted living and had to be moved to memory care. It was a difficult transition for him, but he became comfortable and happy with the wonderful caregivers who lovingly looked after him. La Marea Senior Living review

The food and activities were very good. The surrounding environment is semi-industrial and not conducive to outdoor activity. Promises of regular physical therapy we're not kept. Thankfully, [name removed] was able to return successfully to her own home after 2 months. La Mores did provide a setting for her to recover strength after an acute illness, but home was still the more attractive option.

The facility was short staffed, director left... and we were not informed... no nurse on site as agreed when this happened. Sales said" I'll be there for you " and didn't return emails ... move in was terrible, no follow thru. We moved our Mom after 5 months.

Pleased with experience

Very nice facility with caring people. They did have some turnover and with new people the same communication wasn't followed. For instance I was not notified when Mom fell and heard it from the doctors office. Other than that have been pleased with overall care provided.

Disappointed

The service I was sold and bought into when touring this facility in October 2023 has failed to meet my expectations. There has been, and continues to be, a constant turnover in staff at every level. Basic services, like showering assistance 2x/week are not being performed. They are understaffed and the staff they are bringing in to fill the gaps don't seem to care about the people in their care. I've been patient for 4 months, giving them the opportunity to get this sinking ship up righted, but now I'm thinking I…
