Consistent follow up and direct text message ability with staff to check on her status - especially in the first few weeks as she adjusts. 2. Text or call communication with any and all medial updates so we are made aware of any changes to her health.

The staff there is awesome. They can answer any questions one might have. The do tours so you can get the whole picture. It is a very secure place. Residents cannot come and go without someone to pick them up, plus you have to be buzzed in and to go out. Love that feature. There are many activities all day, and they do outings as well.

I would like to see my mom's room a little cleaner than it is. Very dusty, and the floors are usually dirty or sticky. Would love to see the residents that are mobile like my mom, get outside more often than they do. Would like for them to even offer walks outside when the weather is nice. I think the fresh air would do them good.

Brookdale has given Mom a warm, welcoming, clean, bright and cheerful environment as she has transitioned out of the home where she lived for over 50 years. Although this sort of change is never easy, the Brookdale staff has made it as smooth and comfortable for Mom as possible. It’s evident that the staff members really care about her and her welfare.
