Recently visited from out of town and right away the ambiance was bad. Change of management all new faces. Noticed that there are a couple good staff that are still there and was happy to see they are still there! But most staff is new. The wellness management that they have always has the door closed, it feels un invited to go and talk, my loved one has a hard time reaching the wellness management mainly because almost everyday the door is closed. Would never recommend

I would not recommend Ledgestone. They had some major issues and we shifted my father to another facility. They had the state of Texas come down on them because there were many violations, poor treatment of the elderly and the vast majority of the staff was fired. They weren't equipped to handle people well and staff were lazy and not qualified.

Everyone was great and helped us understand what was available. Our friend decided on moving in there right away.

my experience, friendly staff, would recommend

I rate 5 for each one of them 1 through 8. We're extremely satisfied with Ledgestone Independent Living. We Mostly liked is the effort they put into creating things to do that allow you to meet other residents and develop that sense of community. Secondly is the quality of food prepared and its presentation. Having a Hair Salon, Physical therapy on site.

The good and bad of Ledgestone

I think most people need more support when they first move in. I found one new resident crying in the restaurant at breakfast one morning; she was all alone and confused. We all try to help new people, but we don't always know when they came in. Most of us would like to know when someone is ill or how we can help. We often don't know until later. One other thing: the air vents are very dirty. They apparently have never been cleaned. One resident had theirs commercially cleaned and found MOLD as well as lots of dirt…
