Review for Liberty Heights

Some staff get a 5 like [name removed] and [name removed], but others especially the night staff, might get a 3, just because they were not as dedicated to my mom. I think over all as difficult as it was to care for my mom especially near the end I was so greatful for their care, I'm glad my mom was there being cared for and loved by many of the staff. I was happy with the size of her room, the food was of good quality. There were occasionally things that needed to be addressed, but for the most part the care was …

Overall would recommend.

I'm happy with my decision. Overall, it's a good place. I did not look at other apartments, just the one they offered me - it is 2 bed, 2 bath with outside patio and garage, around 1000 sq ft. I liked the air and took it. They have smaller places, but I liked the extra room. A lot of the apartments do come with gas fireplaces.

My mom's experience in Memory Care

My mom was in the Memory Care for only 1 month as she was needing the next level of care. The care givers were always very friendly, caring. and attentive. They seemed to genuinely like and care about my mom. I liked the atmosphere that they provided when they had their themed activities. Many of the residents seemed to enjoy the festivities. My mom unfortunately wasn't among those that was involved as her alzheimers was aggressing. Overall I was happy with the care my mom received.

Do not recommend

It's really sad that has gone down hills so quickly since we moved in 19 months ago They didn't have an activity director until 2 months ago. The management staff does not properly train the caregiver as. They need more trained CNA's.

I am currently a resident at Liberty Heights and everything about my experience here has been great! I moved here from a different facility that I was not happy with, this place has been much better for me! I would recommend this facility to others.

We toured with Liberty Heights and had a great experience. Liberty Heights is an older facility with lots of beautiful wood. My sister didn't feel it was casual enough for her.
