★★★★★
PositiveAfter visits to 2 facilities that I found acceptable but my uncle rejected & a tour of an independent living facility which didn't provide for enough of his needs, my uncle & I found Marbella Chico, recommended by A Place for Mom.
★★★★★
PositiveAs far as our experience with Marbella, I would give them a 4+. As for what my mother in-law, she would say a 1-2. Her current situation is that she doesn't realize the situations that she is capable of getting herself into are very dangerous. If we could put her on an island with all the freedom to come and go as she pleases. She is really struggling with the restrictions of not being able to leave the grounds. My wife has been taking her out for a few hours every other day. My fear is that this is not a sustainab…

Positive[Name Removed] was very helpful with describing the amenities of the facility. Her experience and knowledge of the staff and their level of experience, helped put my concerns to rest.
★★★★★
PositiveSince I am out of state, I thought Marbella would assist me more with caring for my uncle. I can't be there to take him to doctor appointments & making sure that his sheets are changed every week. He will tell the workers that he doesn't need anything done but I disagree. My uncle is being cared for. The employees are wonderful. I just have the usual family guilt.
★★★★★
PositiveThey have been absolutely wonderful and they are taking very good care of my Mother. In the end we needed to put her in memory care and they have been fabulous
★★★★★
PositiveThis was the last facility on my list to visit. I’m glad I saw all the others first, because Marbella stood out as the most suitable for my mother. I knew that I knew this was the proper place for her. Many of the staff members have been employed there for over 10 years, which is a good sign. The food is outstanding and always fresh. I can sleep peacefully at night knowing my mother is comfortable and safe.
