PositiveFriendly Staff Have Made Our Experience So Positive!
The staff is absolutely amazing. They are attentive, knowledgeable and supportive. That includes ALL staff; administration, housekeeping, dining room and support staff. We have not met one cross or unfriendly person! Also, the apartments and related accommodation are so very comfortable and clean!

PositiveMerrill Gardens “Garden House”, memory care.
My husband now lives in Garden House, the memory care section of Merrill Gardens. The staff have all been so very patient and kind to him (and me too) as he goes through the transition period of being a new resident. They have encouraged him to join in with the other residents in activities that are planned daily. They know all the residents well and always treat them with respect. They also maintain good contact with me to coordinate his care. He is in good hands!

Merrill Gardens Memory care- Staff on their phones most of the time and the activities were mostly watching a move not engaging. The rooms need to have standard basics (we were told we had to purchase blinds for the window). Asked what size they were and were handed a tape measure! If families need to provide they should have dimensions! Not a standard size and would have needed a ladder. Ridiculous. Overall & comparing to other facilities nearby I think Merrill is in the top 5 but as I mentioned above there is room for improvement in the meals and needed staff for maintenance & housekeeping... always short!The people that live here are lovely and very diverse! There is a lot of participation in Resident meetings and activities.
