A Culture of Compassion and Respect

The staff are unusually caring, friendly, conscientious, and responsive. Her room is lovely and the grounds are well maintained. The food is much better than her former senior living community. They think about how to make living easier for an elderly population. They think about the small things. It seems they understand their mission is to provide respect, warmth and comfort to people in this stage of life. Impressed with a leadership that creates a culture of compassion and respect for the people they serve.

Critical

As they say at The Masters, “An experience unlike any other,” but sadly, not in a good way. We had a tour for 11:30am & arrived 15 minutes early. There was no one to greet us, doors wide open. Dingy furniture (the visible office chair had a huge rip in the back) the resident area was dated to put it kindly, and nearly every light bulb in the dining area mismatched. Review for Middleton Crossing, A Sky Active Living Community

I would give Middleton Crossing a 4+ stars. Dad loves his apartment. It is bright and sunny, has a nice view from his windows and balcony, and has some privacy because he is at the end of one of the long hallways. Dad enjoys the meals and really likes having soup with his meal. He isn't a picky eater, which helps. Dad enjoys the activities, but wishes more people would participate. He loves the van rides and really enjoys the van driver, Mark. The field trips Mark comes up with are outings dad really enjoys. The

Great place to live

Staff are great, showing what's available, explaining activities, ministore, introducing staff and residents, making it feel more comfortable. Love the balconies and wall space to hang pictures. Not a lot of closet space but I'm moved from a 3bedroom house to a one bedroom. Just need to adjust.

I have lived here a few months and like everyone I've met. I am a veteran and use the shuttle to get to the VA. I have had a problem with my bank and getting paid by VA so I am behind on paying. I do love it here.

Been here 5 months and made a lot of friends. I like the living quarters and take care of myself. I am a veteran and spacious living and nice people. I am volunteering to help others.
