My dad has alzheimer's and he originally went into memory care - he had been very ill previously to that and was not in great shape mentally or physically. Room was very nice. This is my first time being involved in a care home. I would give an overall 4 for every category. They were really good to my sister. She was able to stop drinking and was clean her entire stay. Again it's to bad I couldn't afford to continue with her stay as she is failing now.

I enjoy living at Mirror Lake Village. It meets my needs. I live in a cottage with an attached garage which is a bonus. It is close to my church and to a Safeway. I only eat at the dining hall for dinner and that is pretty good.

I am going to be brief although I could write a novel on how bad the place. Do not go there.. I had my wife in memory care for around 4 mouths. I had to go and see every day just make sure she was ok. They tried to bath her only twice but I had to bath her myself. I had to to feed her every day they just gave up on trying to feed her. The sales people are great, as are the reception people. I know that it is difficult to keep track of memory care residents, their clothes and possessions go missing as the residents can go into each other's rooms. I think most of the staff are friendly, but English is their second language and it's hard to get information about our resident.
