Overall 5+! Staff is friendly, professional, caring, very responsive and proficient. Food is very good and designed for elderly residents. Very clean. Morningstar T Mountain Shadows is deigned inside and out to resemble a home. Not institutional looking at all.

Overall wonderful place

The food servers were wonderful and paid close attention to what Mom could chew and what she loved to eat. The activities were wonderful, I just wish Mom had been able to enjoy more of them. There were wonderful caregivers and then some not so wonderful, pretty much like any other assisted living. The wonderful ones way out weighed the not so wonderful ones.

5 on all the categories. The staff is dedicated to their mission of serving with love, kindness, honesty, goodness, and respect...towards all their residents. We would absolutely recommend MorningStar at Mountain Shadows to other families based on the experience we have had!

All the staff are excellent. They treat all the residents like their own family. They watch over us like a mom & dad would if you need a friend to talk to. They are there. We have a cairn terrier who lives with us. When I walk her she is talked to and patted. We love it here!!!

Elderly care

The staff is always friendly. I know it's hard to care for the elderly and specially if they have issues one way or another and they do a good job here. If you have concerns you can talk to them and they are willing to work on what ever needs to be done.

Recommended

It is a smaller facility, which my Dad likes. He knows everyone there. The food is not the greatest and he complains about it. The staff is always very nice and friendly. We have had a few problems with the Caregivers. There's been a couple that were not very nice, but once talked to have been better. Housekeeping is great. It is always clean. Communication with the family is fine, but could be better. The move in process was so nice. They came and picked up my Dad's things and moved them in for us. This was includ…
