The food could be improved. Some things were very good others not . When you can't identify what it is that's a problem for me.

The staff are constantly kind, friendly, and always willing to help with anything that's needed. They truly go above and beyond. My mom loves the food, the welcoming atmosphere, and the new friendships she's making with residents and staff.

A Wonderful Place to Call Home

Morning Star is truly an outstanding independent living community. The staff here are incredibly helpful, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to the residents’ well-being. Highly recommend - excellent staff and professional care!

They were very caring and considerate. Unfortunately. My mother didn't live long enough to take advantage of all the amenities but she was very much looking forward to it. Your caring staff made a priceless difference in the final months of her life.

Things to know

Staff not very attentive to new "independent" resident, as far as educating about all that goes on around there, opportunities, etc. Resident has to figure it out. Apparently there are "cliques" so hard to make new friends. Staff should be more attentive to assimilating new residents. Walls thin and sometimes neighbors tv is too loud, which is annoying; along with WiFi overload to watch tv. All the staff are very attentative! The servers in the dining room knew my name the 1st time I showed up. The menu has great variety, food is beautifully presented and the memory of some meals have me longing for the next time! Housekeeping does an excellent job. Assisted Living staff are very caring, attentative and have a great sense of humor. List of activities is great. There is help available for everything from TV to notary republic.
