PositiveThey need to clean the residents rooms on a schedule and better than they are doing. We have to ask them to clean and shouldn't have to. We've seen cockroaches in my Mom's room. I was also told there were cockroaches in the kitchen but have not seen this personally. They told me they've sprayed for them. Most of the caregivers are really good and caring towards the residents, but there are a few that are not very friendly or helpful when the residents ask for assistance. They could use more training in these cases…

PositiveMy mom lives with us but when I was traveling outside the US, I needed respite care for 3 weeks. New Haven was a great fit for us and mom was well taken care of. We would definitely use New Haven again in the future if needed arises.

CriticalWell it's hard I know to keep good workers and it's a tough job! I believe language is a a barrier...one some workers wear mask two they speak a different language......

PositiveOur overall experience has been good. I like the idea of someone always being there to watch them 24/7. also, this place is not that big and I like that. They have great family get together parties almost every month, which is a nice. I picked this community because it was close to where I live. The other communities I looked at were more expensive and they did offer some more stuff like exercise rooms, etc. but this is a good place for the money.

PositiveWe can't say enough good things about New Haven! [name removed] runs an excellent facility. The staff is super friendly, [name removed] and [name removed] are amazing cooks and go out of their way to prepare meals that everyone wants, it's very clean, and just an overall "family" atmosphere.
