Seeking retirement facility . Do your research

I'm independent get very little help. Social events are always good. Staff could be more forthcoming with general info to residents. Such as fire drill weather events evacuation. They raised rents after only 3 months residing.

No orientation for new residents. Such as for example fire safety. I feel it necessary to have charges itemized so people will know what they are billed for. Other businesses do so & have done for years.my recommendation would depend on more information on other facilities

They are very friendly and helpful with things you ask about. As far as the food is concerned, they serve a lot of things that my mother cannot eat such as fish, BBQ, etc. Overall it has been a positive experience and I could recommend Noel Manor to others.

Poor treatment by staff

My mom is having an issue with the temperature in her apartment. Last week it got up to 80 with the air conditioning on. A very rude maintenance man came and told her she has to live with it.

Our experience so far

I have not had any follow-up meetings or any communication since mom moved in. I think that the meals maybe better suited for Seniors with difficulties eating? Mom just doesn't like it. It is often over done, cold, and hard to chew. Overall, I would recommend Noel Manor with these caveats.
