We're glad we chose Montecito

There is a very friendly community. They have done a good job of inviting my mom to participate even though she's reluctant. When she does participate, she enjoys it. Floor staff seems to be always in a hurry. It would be nice if they took a.little time to get to know the new residents. Food could be better. Their every day menu could be expanded and the daily specials should taste better. Meal times should be extended. Dinner ending at 630 is too early for my mom so she has to get it to go and reheat it later. …

Review for Oakmont of Montecito

Overall experience has been positive. Food was better when my mom moved in but there was a change in c h ef so food not as good. However, there is a good selection of food. Help is generally good but a little inconsistent. Place is very clean. Activities are generally good but not that much participation in activities. On boarding pretty weak. People are nice and helpful but a little clicky. Apartment size is good.

Friendly and helpful staff, combined with friendly and nice residents

I would rate it 5. Meeting and exceeding our expectations. Oakmont of Montecito is wonderful! The residents and staff are all friendly and helpful. We couldn't be happier. The first two weeks here, mom constantly asked when we were bringing her home. Now she has a cadre of people she recognizes and interacts with and she realizes this is the best place for her.

Oakmont of Montecito review

The meals and dining is getting better and it is a very nice place to live but it is expensive. Based on the experience I have had so far, I would recommend this community to other families
