Oakmont of Novato is a lovely retirement community situated on a lush campus with lovely views, industry renowned dining, and endless on-site amenities. We are also very close to shopping, fine dining, the arts, and world-class entertainment. You’ll feel at home in our retirement community where friends and neighbors enjoy our salon, private movie theater, resident gardens, and lovely grounds. Oakmont provides residents and their families with peace of mind by providing a wellness center and a full-time nurse to assist with all of their daily needs. Our experienced and caring team provides help 24 hours a day, tailoring services to each resident’s unique needs. Every meal is an experience thanks to our executive chef and our culinary team. Our culinary team has not only been hand-picked from some of the best culinary schools and fine dining restaurants, but they have also gone through the extensive training that Oakmont Senior Living is known for. They will drive residents to stores in Novato, and to doctors as far as North San Rafael (Where Kaiser is). Very flexible and helpful. Staff is friendly. Place is very clean, and they keep each apartment clean as well.

Oakmont of Novato has been a godsend for me and my family this past year when I urgently needed to place both my dad and my mom into a secure facility. My dad, who has Alzheimers, was welcomed warmly into the Traditions facility and has made many friends. Despite his ongoing decline, he is well taken care of and thrives doing the activities, especially with Dean, the amazing Engagement Coordinator. Have lived here several months and the experience is superior. The staff is dedicated, the food is diverse, tasty and more than sufficient. The activity programs are extensive and interesting. Trips are frequent and to interesting points of interest. I would recommend the experience to all who are seeking a superior long- term senior living facility.

PositiveHe truly feels at home now
My father, [name removed] has been in Oakmont Memory Care for 2 1/2 months. They nurtured him and guided him through a difficult transition he had. Now he has adjusted, adapted, is very happy, and he loves all the activities and interactions he has with the staff and residents. I am comforted, in knowing my father is in a good place where he can thrive and be happy. Thank you Oakmont for the wonderful care. He truly feels at home now.
