What we like the most about the community is that it is clean and the there is lots of patience from care givers to the residents. The residents are well cared for. Yes, we would recommend Oakmont of Whittier to other families.

CriticalHorrible Experience
If you value the safety of your loved one, DO NOT let them live at Oakmont. Yes, the building is lovely, and the sales presentation is great, but that's all. They honestly do not care about anything but money. They didn’t give my mom her meds on time, if at all. They say they're doing their routine checks, but they didnt check on her. They severely injured my mom by letting her fall out of the wheelchair while pushing it, then lie to the EMT who got called for the fall about how it happened. This place should be in…

They are all very friendly. They are a little pricey but they are still very nice. We picked this community, because my loved one liked the community. It feels like the food takes longer to get, but the quality of the food is good. They are helpful and polite. The atmosphere is very welcoming. I would recommend it to other families.

It's a beautiful place, the staff are great, mom is very happy there, mom is checked out weekly by Nurse Practioners. I would recommend family to visit loved ones often. There is a high staff turnover, so check on loved one to see if care is maintained between staff.

PositiveOur family had an in person tour and Oakmont is a beautiful facility, we had no complaints with anything we saw on the tour. The were were great and super information. You could tell they really new how to showcase their place and dive in deep to everything they have to offer. Great from a management and sales point of view. However it was just to expensive for us.
