PositiveEverything you need is here. I am happier here than I ever thought possible! There’s always something to do, or be a part of. The choice is yours. It’s a community we all respect each other’s privacy and health issues. The staff is amazing, kind, patient and caring! There are daily exercising classes for the body and the mind! Most importantly my family knows that I am happy and safe
★★★★★
PositiveStaff is great but, because it's a large facility, during busy times one needs to be patience. Lot's of activities. Food is good but, due to having to be neutral in dietary restrictions for everyone, tends to be bland. Room is good. Lot's of choices in size depending on availability. Facility was convenient for me as it was very close by.
★★★★★
PositiveOverall a very good experience! The young man I worked with, [name removed] was patient and helpful with out being pushy. He made a difficult time much easier. I thank you all and recommend "A Place For Mom" for anyone who needs help.
★★★★★
PositiveOcean Hills was amazing. Wonderful, caring staff and residents. Beautiful facility. Great activities. They gave my Mom a wonderful additional year to her life. I would tell others that you should never dump their loved ones in any facility and leave them, rarely visiting. You get out of it what you put in. Put in caring and love and you'll get that back from the staff in spades.
★★★★★
CriticalOcean Hills was brand new when she moved in and the startup was very rocky. Some things still are not very good especially maintenance type activities and food service.
★★★★★
PositiveHaving to come to the decision to move to long term care is very difficult, and stressful as well as confusing. Speaking with A Place for Mom removed all of that and helped make it easier and I would highly recommend making that call. There is no pressure just an understanding voice to help.
