Positive

Very professionally run facilities with multitude of services levels.

I would give them a five across the board. Dad died in [date removed] but Mom is still there and loves it there. They keep her busy with a lot of activities. She is very happy there. I believe they were the only ones that has a funded trust and if your parents run out of money, I believe they are one of the few that will not kick your parents out. We felt others would eventually do so even though they wouldn't actually come out and say it. Very caring staff. We were lucky to get in there.

Best place for Mom

We moved Mom hear a few years ago as she has dementia. We couldn't be happier with not only the facility but the staff in the east wing is fantastic. We are out of state and we never have to worry about her. The staff will contact us if an issue arises and explains everything in detail. All the staff members are caring people that put the residents first. The facility is clean and well maintained, staff is professional, plenty of activities to keep people busy. Hats off to [Removed].

Mother was there for rehab...

My mother actually worked as a volunteer when here when she was younger. She was in for rehab and loved it. The place was always very clean and the nurses were very attentive. They would take her to the bathroom when she needed it and helped however they could. We never had any problems, it's a great place.

Very nice looking place

We toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. Dorothy Love Retirement is a very nice place overall, and was definitely near the top of our list. The staff we met were friendly and professional, and the facility itself was well kept and clean.
