When my 93-year-old father's Alzheimers and dementia started to become a real problem a year ago, we were concerned about finding a good place where he could live and be cared for around the clock. We chose Oliver Woods in Owosso, and I cannot praise this facility highly enough. Run wonderfully by Carla LaMarr, with super assistance from folks like Zoie Martinez, Christi, Lilly, and too many others to name... they have all moved mountains to make my dad feel comfortable. PositiveI am overall very happy I placed my mother in this facility.
This was not my first time being in this facility. My husbands grandpa was placed here as well years ago. I back then always thought this was a nice facility for a loved one. So as I am very pleased with how much the staff does go out of there way to make my Mother feel so at home. They are always keeping me up to date with anything that is going on with my Mother from her medical care to her memory care. Overall this is a great place if your looking to place a loved one. ?
