PositiveFriendly and Welcoming Atmosphere
I give it 4 star rating because the staff is very kind and helpful and friendly. The food is mostly very good and the cooks have been very good about finding solutions to allergic reactions. I would appreciate more vegetables, especially fresh or frozen veggies, as they are much more nutritious. Cleanliness is sometimes a challenge since it is hard to find enough staff to do all that is needed. Apartment size is quite adequate. Other residents are for the most part friendly and pleasant. CriticalPlease avoid!
Before the new ownership ([removed]) in 2023, this was a great community. Unfortunately things have gone severely downhill this year. The new leadership is incompetent and often absent. Staff is treated extremely poorly which trickles down to residents. Please do not send your loved ones here, the wheels are falling off the bus.

PositiveVery compassionate caregivers. Highly recommend
We placed my mother-in-law in the Gardens (memory care) about 1 1/2 years ago. We found the caregivers to be kind and compassionate. And this was especially true when our mother-in-law went on hospice care and died there. I can't say enough to adequately express our gratitude for the caregivers. They were awesome.

I had to move my husband a month after he arrived. The care and attention he got was horrible. They took him to the emergency room twice and while I was visiting, there was no caregiver several times in the common area where several clients were seated. I reported the facility to the Oregon Dept. and would not recommend that facility.

Words cannot express how grateful I am for the care that my husband is receiving from Grove and Garden. The staff do their very best to make sure that he is well taken care of. The facility is very clean and smells very nice. The food smells wonderful, and the residents' days are jam packed with activities! The overall experience for my wife as a new resident is going well. From what her cousin tell me, the community is a fantastic place. The staff are contacting my wife's cousins to give updates. When I talk with my wife it seems like she is happy and enjoying her time at the community.
