Woodmont is amazing

The staff is absolutely amazing. All were such a big help and the hospitality they showed me was amazing! They let me stay the week with my aunt to make sure she was comfortable and to unpack her. I honestly have no words to tell you how they all made me feel! I left my aunt feeling very comfortable at woodmont and her being in their care.

Overall the staff was enthusiastic, encouraging and they readily acknowledged all our concerns. The downside was that memory care floor seemed sad and dark and the common area was very small. There was a hint of a urine smell. I don't believe this is where I would want to be placed or for that matter put someone I loved. It's an older facility that doesn't look like it's been updated in some time.

People were nice, but the facility had a very old feeling, even though they were trying to update it.

Go to Woodmont and see how awesome it is. I would give that advice for any facility to be able to determine if it's the right place or not. Woodmont just has a positive vibe, kind staff, and kind residents.

The cost of caring

When you place your loved ones in a facility, the expenses add up, but having someone that is genuinely dedicated, exceeds the cost of caring. The Director at Woodmont Senior living is a true example of these actions. She goes above and beyond and then some to make sure the residents needs are met. Her leadership sets an example for her carestaff and how they should perform their duties. Not only does she care about the residents, but she has transformed the interior of the building into a beautiful welcoming place…

As soon as I walked through the entrance door I noticed a foul smell. The building is being remodeled. The newly remodeled rooms looked ok, but I couldn't get over the smell. We did not choose Woodmont for my mother.
