The Villas at Houghton The Villas at Houghton is an assisted living community located in Tucson, Pima County, Arizona that provides quality care for those dealing with dementia or Alzheimer's. This community provides a safe place to live in a location that is great. Guests of the residents of this community will find that Tucson has much to offer in terms of entertainment. The Mini Time Machine Museum of Minitures is a great place to visit, as is the Abraham Lincoln Regional Park. The Villas at Houghton offer a caring staff that is fully trained to help our residents with their daily needs. Our staff is ready to provide the memory care that is needed, and they are available to help out at all hours of the night and day. Our staff is prepared to offer the right support to each senior who is a part of our community, and to do that in a way that is respectful and kind. In addition to providing our seniors with a great place to live and a staff that truly cares about them and their needs, we also offer the following: Beautiful walking paths and a waterfall Outside covered patios Beauty salon on-site Organized activities Laundry services We are here to help those seniors who would like to be a part of the great community that is The Villas at Houghton.

Nice Facility Overall

Biggest problem was distance. We wanted to get my friend in at PSV La Canada, but no room was available. Houghton Rd is about 20 miles from where we live, which created problems. Room size, cleanliness were fine. Caregiver staff were pleasant and helpful but my friend was a very difficult person to work with, due to her mental/physical health and completely antisocial attitude. Can't speak to the food or activities, since I never ate there and my friend never participated in any activities.

My mother was only there for two weeks. She had hospice care for that time. She never ate meals or interacted with any of the other residents. The length of time that my mother was there. I was there a good portion of the day. I feel that can't tell much about the food smelled good. Look good. My mom has been at Park Senior Villas in Tucson for several months so far. We visited many facilities in the area and It is overwhelming! Park Senior Villas met our expectations. Small number of people in a home like setting. Family setting for meals, meals are cooked by caregivers. (residences are eating together for their 3 meals), not isolated. Lack of quality care

This is based off of our experience almost two years ago. I am not sure if things have changed. My father went in to the Villas at Houghton in July, and by February he had died. When he went in, he was able to do all his activities of daily living. Within seven months, he was in diapers and could not get out of bed. he fell several times without staff noticing he was not given his antibiotics as prescribed. They washed his cell phone three times which I had to replace and he never had water or his eyeglasses. I pu…
