PositiveThe staff was always kind to my mother and helped her when she needed it. It's a tough job, but I thought they did a good one. They always listen to my concerns and would either adjust something or explain why a situation was what it was. I don't have specifics, but I checked in most days to see how things were going. PositiveThe staff is helpful, friendly and listens to my concerns and suggestions. The food is very good, a nice variety of menu and substitutions when needed for my mother's needs. CriticalThe latest event: Power outage 2:30am, at 1:00pm power still out. No working emergency lights in hallway. Residents served cold food (pizza brought in) on paper plates, no forks offered, cold coffee. There are gas fireplaces keeping the common rooms comfortable for now. Encore Senior Living, their corporate owner, does not answer phone calls or emails directed to individuals who have sent signed letters.
