PositiveThe room has needed a new vanity in the bathroom and a toilet paper roll for month. Still has not been replaced. The staff does an amazing job with mom. The maintenance of the facility just needs to follow up more quickly.

PositiveMy father is a resident and has been for 11 months so far. I am very pleased with the care and patience they have shown as my father’s mental health declines from Dementia. He is still living in a private suite and can be messy, yet his floors, sheets, etc are always clean and tidy. There is room in his suite for 5 bookcases to keep his memories close and the surroundings familiar to him.

At North East Parkside the room at Parkside was good sized for a two person room with the bathroom between each person's space. The food has been good, and you can walk around the dining space to get your exercise and an outside patio to get some fresh air. PositiveStaff was great. My problem was my they require a deposit of $[removed]. My uncle was there only 5 days before he had to leave. We asked for a portion of the deposit back. They told us it was not refundable. It was not a deposit on the apartment. It was a fee for the facility to upgrade and maintain itself. Those 5 days cost the $[removed]deposit and $[removed]for his 5 days of rent.

PositiveThe facility is well maintained, and the staff are nice to deal with. Compared to several other facilities that I looked at Parkside was the best choice. The nurses were friendly and addressed any concerns I brought up about my brother’s care. The room was spacious and gave each resident their privacy. I am very happy that Parkside was my final choice for where my brother would be living.
