Parmer Woods

My main concern is that there are not adequate accommodations for residents who are hearing impaired. Activities would be much more accessible if there were a monitor displaying words or captions in large enough text for residents to read from their seats in the activity room or from the balcony when events are held there. I have also experienced ongoing issues with billing. In addition, I was very surprised to receive a notice today informing me that my mother's rent will increase by approximately $[removed] star

Our family's experience

The building is well maintained, rooms are adequate, staff is friendly. I would absolutely recommend them to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

Helpful Transition

My husband moved into a lovely, freshly painted assisted living apartment, took off immediately, was returned and re-settled in Parmer Woods Connections, a Memory Care unit, and resides there after 5 weeks, sad and angry. So this is my perspective. The cost jumped significantly. The staff has been great; they are attentive and want him to be content. The activities are varied, engaging and fun, with perhaps half of the residents able to participate. The entire Parmer Woods complex is immaculate, rarely smells of

Excellent staff and overall satisfied

The administration staff are very professional and helpful. [name removed], the activities coordinator provides and plans an array of activities for all kinds of interests and encourages residents to participate. The food is what my mom dislikes the most. It is sometimes average-good and many more times cold or unappetizing.

Clean place, staff is knowledgeable and kind. My mother in law was well taken care of. It felt safe and homey. Programs ran smoothly. Quiet and close to many things. My mother [name removed] didn't stay long and the administration was very flexible and all the changes were implemented. Smoothly.
