My main concern is that there are not adequate accommodations for residents who are hearing impaired. Activities would be much more accessible if there were a monitor displaying words or captions in large enough text for residents to read from their seats in the activity room or from the balcony when events are held there. My husband moved into a lovely, freshly painted assisted living apartment, took off immediately, was returned and re-settled in Parmer Woods Connections, a Memory Care unit, and resides there after 5 weeks, sad and angry.
