PositiveI found the Peaks to be a good place. A little under staffed though. When it came to activities, they could do more to get residents involved as well as tailor to some of the particular interests of the residents.

PositiveThe staff was amazing, they really did seem to care about my dad and loved that he was very friendly and always happy. The quality of the care suffered in that I think they were short handed. He developed a bed sore and then was not ambulatory at all after that and that's when things went downhill quickly. He seemed to enjoy the meals and eating in the dining room with the "cool kids". PositiveThey could do better at getting back to me with requests sometimes. The overall cleanliness in the facility is great. its just often a lot of crumbs on the floor and his tray table in his room that I notice. Also he shares a bathroom with his neighbor and that isn't always the cleanest.

PositiveThe Peaks is a great place to stay connected to family. [name removed] creates such fun activities there! We have 3 generations of family who love to go have fun together and with Grandma dancing, having fun refreshments, making fun crafts, etc. We had a blast with the live music for Valentine's Day and the yummy pancakes and toppings for Morher's Day. The decorations are always festive and inviting. We also love to buy lunch and eat with Mom on any day. The meals there are great!
